September 13, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Unlike many fad diets that have come in and out of popularity, the Mediterranean diet has numerous health benefits. At this session, Dr. Parks talked about the components of the Mediterranean diet and review the evidence behind its health promoting effects.
Culinary medicine blends the art of food and cooking with the science of medicine, helping individuals understand the value of food and cooking and how certain foods contribute to both chronic disease and overall well-being.
