Dr. Parks is a Harvard-trained clinician, educator and researcher who is passionate about providing enhanced care using a holistic approach with wellness at its core. She holds three board certifications: Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation, and has been practicing in the Boston community for over 10 years. Dr. Parks has extensive experience managing and treating complex medical problems, and through this, became interested in ways to prevent disease and optimize health.
At Synergy Private Health, Dr. Parks uses an integrative approach to health management: to help address existing conditions and enhance wellness through prevention and lifestyle support. With the evolution of our complex medical system, she believes it’s time to put caring into health and health into healthcare.
Kaitlyn Cooney, MSN, RN, NP-C
Kaitlyn is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, who earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Nursing from the Connell School of Nursing at Boston College. Kaitlyn has worked in the healthcare field for six years and is committed to providing high level comprehensive care and empowering patients to make healthy choices that will help them achieve an optimal level of wellness. Kaitlyn is passionate about leading efforts to triage patient needs, providing lifestyle education and facilitating personalized care coordination. Kaitlyn is a co-leader of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Group in the Northeast region. She is also an active member of the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.
Sean Person started his career in fitness in 2005 and in that time has had the opportunity to work in and manage over a dozen health clubs in addition to meeting and working with thousands of members on their health and wellness goals. Now as a Health Coach with Castle Connolly Private health Partners, Synergy and his own business Always Strong Fitness he hopes to utilize his skills and experience to provide the best possible Health Coaching to the members of Synergy. He believes in a balanced approach to Fitness with a big focus on building and developing functional strength, managing stress, getting adequate sleep, and with his teammate Lauren Sharifi excellent nutrition. He’s personally embraced a life of fitness having done multiple century rides, road races, adventure runs and even natural bodybuilding. He is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Weight Loss Specialist and Fitness Nutrition Specialist in addition to an ISCA Master Trainer in Personal Training, Kickboxing, Kettlebells, Battling Ropes and is the Founder of his wellness company Always Strong Fitness. When not coaching he spends time with his wife Katy and their new son Thoren.
