Dr. Jeff Phillips
Dr. Jeff Phillips combines deep experience practicing Primary Care and Lifestyle Medicine in the Boston-metro area with an approach to practice that is rooted in empathy and passion for wellness. He is board certified in both Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine and believes in partnering with patients to help them live their best and healthiest lives.
Trained at the University of Massachusetts, a top program nationally for Primary Care, followed by residency at the highly-regarded Tufts Family Medicine Program, he came to recognize that only via a proactive and personalized approach, based largely on lifestyle interventions and a trusting doctor-patient relationship, could he work with patients to truly impact the trajectory of their lives. Dr. Phillips deeply values his relationships with his patients; his practice style is collaborative, engaging with patients to develop tailored goals and treatment plans that consider the nuances of their lives. Dr. Phillips also has interest and experience in innovation, technology, and digital health having held several leadership roles in this space; he leverages cutting-edge modalities to help patients accomplish peak performance and to optimize longevity.
Dr. Phillips’ other areas of interest include cardiovascular disease risk reduction, cancer risk reduction, prevention and management of metabolic diseases including prediabetes, diabetes, and weight concerns. He is passionate about working together with patients on increasing “healthspan”, improving sleep, stress management, mood management, healthy aging, brain health, and addressing “burnout” while helping them better balance their lives.
When he is not at work, Dr. Phillips tries to live a well-balanced life. He enjoys staying active and being outdoors, trail running, cycling, or tinkering with technology. More than anything, he enjoys spending time with his daughters and wife.
