Yes. Insurance applies in the same way that it does in a non-concierge practice. Professional and medical services will be provided entirely through the medical practice, and the practice will bill you or your health insurance plan for those professional services. The Membership fees for the concierge service do not pay for any professional services and, therefore, are not covered by insurance whatsoever. You will continue to be responsible for any co-payments, coinsurance fees, and deductibles in accordance with your plan’s benefit design.
