We’re Thrilled to Welcome Our Newest Member of the Synergy Private Health Team. Meet Dr. Janine Pardo!

I would like to extend my gratitude to the Synergy Private Health community for welcoming me into this amazing practice.  My life’s work is to partner with patients to help them to thrive and to live their healthiest possible lives.  We work together to extend their “healthspan,” not just their lifespan.  My passion is fusing top quality, proactive primary care with a holistic approach; I use this to provide thoughtful diagnostic analyses and create highly personalized prevention and treatment plans with heavy emphasis on lifestyle interventions.  I like to get to the root cause of what is driving a patient’s issues, not just use medications to suppress their symptoms - this is how we obtain the longest lasting, highest quality results.  The time we spend with patients and the practice model we use at Synergy is the ideal format for crafting deep meaningful relationships with patients, which are core to the best care and outcomes.

In addition to my 15 years in clinical practice I have served as physician for the Boston Ballet, the Boston Cannons (professional men’s lacrosse team), and the Boston Breakers (professional women’s soccer team). I have also completed healthcare professional certifications from the American Meditation Institute and the Institute for Functional Medicine, and I am a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.  My particular areas of interest in clinical practice include bowel and digestive issues (such as IBS, SIBO, and food sensitivities).  I also have special interest and training in the management of thyroid health, lipidology and cardiovascular risk reduction, brain health, cancer risk reduction, weight, stress, and sleep management, and general performance optimization.

In my personal life, I enjoy time with my husband and daughter, and am a committed practitioner of yoga and meditation.  You can often find me with my family paddle boarding on the Charles, hiking local hiking trails, at a beach, or on the soccer field.  I am also an avid supporter of the arts and a classical pianist.

It is with gratitude that I look forward to serving the Synergy Private Health community.
