In celebration of Mother's Day, we are bringing our daughters back to the Synergy Kitchen, and we're asking you to invite three of your ‘mom friends’ to join us as we prepare healthy, delicious picnic staples to share with friends and family. Kids of all ages are welcome too! We'll be cooking up Lemon Basil Mint Spritzers, Roasted Red Pepper Tahini Wraps and Curried Mango Quinoa Salad that all can enjoy - can’t wait to see you there!

Beware of Ticks!

Finally, warm weather marks the return of tick season in MA. Ticks can be found in both the city and rural settings and are endemic to our region. Please remember that Lyme and other tick-borne illnesses remain the greatest risk when ticks are attached to the body for more than 36 hours. Therefore, we strongly encourage all our members to perform thorough daily tick checks. If you have been bitten by a tick and are unsure of how long the tick was attached, or if the tick was attached for more than 24 hours, please be sure to inform your physician as soon as you remove it. All tick bites should be monitored for signs of infection (i.e. spreading redness, “bullseye” rash, fever, night sweats, etc.). You can read more on this topic via the following vetted resource:
